Mr. Schrader’s Space

Welcome to BHSS and Mr. Schrader’s 9-1 English course.

Note to parents/students:

• If your student is in the Freshman Academy, all that means is that they will have the same teacher all year for English, Algebra, and Biology.  This is part of a pilot program we are implementing at South to try to assist freshman with their transition to high school.
• Students need a notebook that they can leave in my classroom.  If it is difficult to get another notebook, see me and I can provide one.
• Standing homework in my class is independent reading.  Students should ALWAYS have a book they are working on.  Please ask them what they are reading and what they plan on reading next!
• I am working on sending out semi-regular announcements to parents by email.  If you would like to receive this, contact me at my school email address (afschrad at mccsc dot edu - spelled out so I don’t get spammed!)
