We started working on short stories this week. Students received their textbooks and on Tuesday and Wednesday we worked on the story The Bass, the River, and Sheila Mant. Thursday and Friday we will be working on The Sentinal. Both stories are in our literature book, and we are focusing on making inferences along with discussing the major ideas of each story.
Students should be receiving their “This I Believe” essays by Friday and we will be looking towards our next writing project soon.
